Clichés and facts about medical tourism to Istanbul. Crazy or smart?

There are many clichés about medical tourism to Istanbul. But the reality for us is quite different:

Stereotype: You can never be sure about the quality in Istanbul! And what about hygiene standards?

Stereotype: Swiss doctors certainly have more experience!

Cliché: The devices are not new and were bought on the second-hand market!

Stereotype: How can we even communicate? I don’t speak Turkish!
