In December 2017, I had laser eye surgery and dental treatment at Acibadem Hospital in Istanbul. I was made aware of the offer by SWISSLASIK – MedicalTravel GmbH, based in Bern. Mr. Kara and the Swisslasik team were friendly and professional from the very beginning.

A preliminary examination is routinely conducted in Switzerland to determine suitability for the procedure. After my examination was successful, Swisslasik organized the surgery in Istanbul.

In Istanbul, all transfers between the airport, hotel, and hospital were handled by the Acibadem Hospital’s own transport service. At the hospital, I was accompanied by a translator throughout the process and taken to all important stations, such as registration, preliminary examinations, treatment, etc. I received excellent care and didn’t have to worry about a thing.

The examinations and treatments were highly professional and very friendly. As far as I can tell, the building and medical equipment are state-of-the-art – on par with, or even surpassing, hospitals in Germany or Switzerland. The procedures themselves were also highly professional, went smoothly, and achieved the desired result.

Overall, I am thrilled with the process and results of my treatments. The feeling of seeing so clearly without glasses is still indescribable. I have not experienced any side effects such as eye irritation, night blindness, etc.

The care provided by the staff of SWISSLASIK in Switzerland and the Acibadem Hospital in Istanbul was exceptionally good and exemplary. Since undergoing the treatment, I have already recommended SWISSLASIK and the Acibadem Hospital to many friends, acquaintances and colleagues, and I will continue to do so.
