I would like to share my story. My name is Isejnoska Meltena and I come from Macedonia. However, I have been living in Switzerland since 1993. I have been married to my husband Mehmet Isejnoski for 10 years. We have been through very difficult times. I underwent four operations due to ectopic pregnancies. After that, we decided to try assisted reproduction. However, we never had any success in Switzerland. Even after six IVF treatments, it never worked.
One day in May 2011, my husband did some research on the internet and found Dr Gürkan Arikan from Turkey for IVF. He was in Graz, Austria, and we visited him there to talk about assisted reproduction and to get more information. One day, he held a seminar in Zurich and we met him again. That is where we got to know Swisslasik and came into contact with them. After that, we decided to undergo IVF treatment in Turkey. Swisslasik organised everything for us: the flights, the transfer service, and so on.
We flew to Turkey and found our happiness there. Acibadem Hospital was very good, very clean and very hygienic, and the staff were extremely friendly. The treatment lasted around 10 to 12 days. The operation went without any problems. I had my operation on 17 July 2011. On 22 July 2011, I had the embryo transfer, which also went very well. After that, we flew back to Switzerland.
We then had to wait for the blood test with my GP on 2 August 2011. They already called me in the afternoon. The result was positive. After so many attempts, we were incredibly happy about this. We found our happiness in Turkey. It finally worked, our dream has come true. I recommend everyone to try it – you never know where happiness is waiting for you – for us, it was in Turkey.
