My LASIK surgery in Istanbul – Report from Wednesday, April 2, 2008

Thank you for your email. I have completed the patient survey.

First of all, I would like to thank you very much.

There were two of us in Istanbul, Rolf Büchler and I. We really enjoyed our time, and I, for one,

I only regret one thing, and that is that I didn’t stay in Istanbul for another 2-3 days. This city is so vibrant.

I couldn’t really imagine it. We didn’t even eat badly and tried a little bit of everything.

We went to fish restaurants, ate the different kebabs, and enjoyed Turkish hospitality.

I think they are perfectly entitled to make that public on their website. We were contacted immediately and always received very friendly service.

It was a perfect holiday!

We also went to the bazaar and visited the Blue Mosque. This culture was very fascinating! I would have liked to stay a few more days!

From the flight to the airport pickup, the hotel, and the surgery itself, I must say everything was perfectly organized! Many many thanks!

We received excellent care, especially before the surgery when we got a little nervous… which is perfectly normal… ;-))

The fear, or rather the uncertainty, was taken away from us by smiles and kind words, especially from Fred. This distraction was great!!

The surgery itself was now only a “secondary matter”. I had no pain during the surgery.

When we went back for the check-up on Saturday, everything was great! We had no pain and we felt like we were reborn!

You and your team have changed my life somewhat, especially in a positive way; I am very grateful to you and your team!

I’ve already forwarded her address, and I hope they’ll choose her too!
