Femto LASIK treatment in Istanbul – My experience – Report from Wednesday, November 14, 2012
I’ve heard a lot about laser treatment in Turkey, so I researched online and came across SwissLasik. I then met Mr. Karaagacli at the health fair in St. Gallen. He explained everything to us in detail. At that time, a good friend of mine had her eyes lasered in Switzerland. So, I also inquired here in Switzerland about the procedure and how much it would cost. In hindsight, I’m glad I didn’t do it in Switzerland. It is three times more expensive than in Turkey, and my friend is still not satisfied with the results 10 months after the laser surgery.
I can simply say that the stay in Turkey was short and painless. I had a prescription of -7.5 diopters. I wore daily contact lenses every day. When I wore glasses, my eyes looked so small. I thought to myself, either I do it now or never. I’m 31 years old, and you could say “half-blind.” That just can’t be. Having my eyes lasered in Istanbul was one of my best decisions. The surgery was pain-free, and after the operation, my eyes watered for about 4 hours, and everything was very bright. I slept for about 3 hours in the hotel and then we went out for dinner. The next day, we admired the culture in Istanbul. Thank you very much.
