Recommendation for laser eye surgery in Turkey – Antalya
MY RECOMMENDATION: RELEX SMILE LASER EYE SURGERY IN ANTALYA
After several holidays in Turkey, I decided to have laser eye surgery in Antalya. I had a gut feeling about the Turkish healthcare system, but of course I also did some research online.
Naturally, the costs, which were significantly lower than those in Switzerland, were also a decisive factor.
I booked my flight and hotel myself. Swisslasik would have done it for me, but I really wanted to see the sea and found a wonderful hotel near the clinic. Tip: Golden Orange Hotel Konyalti – it was incredibly affordable and everything was perfect!
The airport pickup and all other shuttles I needed from the hotel to the clinic and back were excellent and reliable!
The care provided during my stay was always in German, and I felt very well looked after! However, one must be aware that one is not in Switzerland and that some things are done a little differently in the hospital than at home.
The surgery went well. After that, I did experience some pain when I had to put the drops in my eye, but that’s probably normal. The next day I had my follow-up appointment and my vision was almost 100% by then!
When I flew home the next day, it was like a completely different feeling! No glasses or contact lenses – simply amazing!
I can only speak positively about my experience and only regret not having done it years ago! By the way, I chose the Relax Smile option.
Most of the communication took place via WhatsApp, so everything was always very quick!
I look forward to the follow-up appointment during my next stay in Antalya and thank everyone who has helped me maintain this quality of life.
